Some reflect sporting activities and cultural conformity such as decorative cricket belt buckles and dog tags. Others indicate Irish Catholic origin including religious medals and rosaries. There are 548 buttons which range from functional trouser, uniform and military buttons to decorative Art Nouveau styles.
