posted on 2021-11-01, 04:54 authored by Michael Bull, Dale Burzacott
This dataset contains approximately 56,000 scanned, hand written records of sleepy lizard (Tiliqua rugosa) sampling from 1982-2017. The data collected relate primarily to the spatial location of lizards, their weight and length, plus the species, number and life stage of the ticks on the lizards.

Sleepy lizards have an activity period concentrated from spring to late summer and the data was collected, on a year to year basis, during this time.

Lizards are neighbouring within an approximately 15 km2 study site. Data was collected from lizards captured at the same study site each year. The composition of the sampled lizards may vary from year to year.

Date coverage: 1982 - 2016
Location: Near Mount Mary, South Australia, Australia
