White sharks exploit the sun during predatory approaches

This dataset contains information on the approach characteristics of the white shark (Carcharodon carcharias). Contains one spreadsheet and one .csv file. Dataset includes GLMM Data and Rayleigh test data on shark approach in relation to the Sun.

GLMM Data includes Shark ID (Shark A-Shark AH, i.e. data on 34 Sharks), sun direction, wind direction, wind strength, swell height and water depth.

Rayleigh test data includes approach information in relation to the sun in the morning, afternoon, in overcast and sunny weather. Approach in relation to the boat in overcast, sunny and all days. Rayleigh test data includes information on Shark A-Shark G (i.e. data on 7 Sharks).
